AppleUpgrade, software and
hardware.
I originally started out offering a hardware upgrade service,
based around the Apple eMac and Mac Mini lines. I am still
able to upgrade those machines for people, only on request
though. I am aiming to get into the programming arena, where
the thoughts of my software spreading out across the globe,
is absolutely mind blowing.
I have always been interested in programming, but I have
never put any effort into it. It started with Sinclair
Spectrum 128K +2 machines, followed by early DOS based PC's,
but in the last few years I have been drawn to the cult of
Mac. Applescript and Automator are the obvious starting
points.
I started to look again after I upgraded to Leopard, and my
old Mail Optimizing applescript failed to work. I looked into
it, and decided to have a go myself. I doubt it's perfect, or
conventional, but it works and it's quite a small amount of
code for the result.
Check out MailFOO, the mail optimizing script that lets you
know what it's done!
